About us
Founded in 1896, Adelphi University is one of suburban Long Island’s oldest private institutions. It has ancillary campuses in Manhattan, Suffolk County, and Hudson Valley. The university comprises eight academic schools. that offer learning in four core areas —Arts and Humanities, STEM and Social Sciences, the Business and Education Professions, and Health and Wellness. The Adelphi campus sprawls across 75 acres of land and includes seven residence halls and several recreational infrastructures. The university has more than 90 plus student clubs and has amenities for more than 10 different sports. Aldephi has a total enrolment of 7859 students; out of 604 are international students from 120 countries. Adelphi University is a pioneer in research and innovation as it was recently awarded the Eduventures Innovation Award. Thus, it is an excellent option for studying abroad.
