California State University – East Bay, abbreviated as CSUEB, is a public university in Hayward, California. It was established in 1957 and is a member of the 23-campus California State University system. In addition to the main campus at Hayward, CSU East Bay has two satellite locations in Oakland and Concord. The main CSUEB campus sprawls across 342 acres and encapsulates four colleges, various residence halls, a health center, retail outlets like Pizza Hut and Taco, and other recreational infrastructures. The university's total enrollment is 14705 students, with a study abroad intake of 5.3 percent international students. CSUEB offers 49 bachelor’s degrees, 35 master’s degrees, and 1 doctoral course in diverse disciplines like health sciences, business, psychology, social work, etc. The university is home to 160 student clubs and 15 intercollegiate sports teams.
