Cleveland State University, abbreviated as CSU, is a public-funded research university located in Cleveland, Ohio. The origin of Cleveland State dates back to the 1880s when YMCA began offering evening and day courses to underprivileged students. CSU was officially established as a state-funded institution in 1964, and it adopted the campus, curriculum, and staff of Fenn College. It is currently a member of the University of Ohio system. The main campus of CSU sprawls across 85 acres of land and has an urban setting. It also has a satellite campus in Westlake, Ohio. CSU operates out of ten academic schools and colleges that offer 1000 graduate, undergraduate, doctoral, and certificate programs in 200 plus fields. The current enrollment of CSU is 17000 plus students, out of whom 1400 are international students. Ninety-four percent of CSU students receive financial aid, and the university has one of the lowest tuition fees in Ohio. As such, it becomes of the most affordable places to study abroad. Cleveland State University has a vast alumni network of 120000 graduates worldwide, and some of the notable ones are – Matt Ghaffari, Shawn Douglas, and Santino Bianco.
