DePaul University is a private, Catholic Research University located in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1898, and by 1998, it became the biggest Catholic university in North America in terms of student enrolment. DePaul is spread across two campuses – one in Lincoln Park and Loop. The Lincoln Park campus sprawls across 36 acres and comprises a theatre, the Sullivan Athletic Center, Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center, and an Art Museum. DePaul premises 11 residence halls in which 72 percent of freshmen live. DePaul offers some of the best courses to study abroad, such as Sciences, Management, Finance, etc. DePaul is deemed among R2 Doctoral Universities – High Research activities.
