James Cook University - Singapore (JCU) is a branch of James Cook University based in Australia. Founded in 2003, it is one of the best places to study abroad, and completely follows the academic curriculum of its parent university. Its campus is located at 149 Sims Drive, in between the Kallang and Aljunied MRT stations. JCU Singapore runs on a trimester system and helps their students complete their degrees in a short time span of 2 years as compared to other universities around the world, and offers an Inter-Campus Mobility Programme, which allows students studying on the Singapore campus to pay the tuition fee in their domestic currency. The university offers many student-friendly amenities and the campus facilities include a library, cafeteria, nursing room, etc. Learning facilities like students’ hubs, financial labs, and auditoriums are also present on the campus. According to 2018 statistics, approx 37% of international students apply to study at the university every year. The university also has an alumni association with a motive to stay connected with its notable alumni and help its students to gain career guidance from them.
