About us

Well-established in 1992, the New York Film Academy is a private university, for-profit film school, and acting school. It offers UG, PG, and various short-term seminars and conservatory-style programs in several visual and performing arts. The precious academy has nearly five campuses and operates from ten different locations. Moreover, the campus has an advanced infrastructure to teach acting and other technical aspects of filmmaking. To top it all, the academy is well-equipped with cutting-edge technology, dubbing rooms, performance areas, makeup rooms, etc., used for learning. Most importantly, various NYFA programs, workshops, and short-term courses are organized across the globe, with the most-awaited summer workshops at Harvard University. Students can also find reliable study abroad scholarships available. Nearly 20% of students live in residence facilities owned and managed by Educational Housing Services. However, the academy also has double-room accommodations and a limited number of single rooms for students who wish to live in a dormitory.
