About us
SUNY Polytechnic Institute, located 158 miles from New York, was established in the year 1966. It currently has two campuses Utica-Rome and Albany. SUNY Poly was the first college to introduce nanotechnology educational programs. The five colleges of SUNY Poly are College of Arts & Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering, College of Business Management, and College of Engineering. SUNY Poly has a hands-on teaching approach where internships are offered to encourage experiential learning. Students from over 15 countries are enrolled here. SUNY Poly has several student organizations that promote inclusivity and diversity on the campus. The alumni network includes dignitaries from diverse fields such as Albert Lincoln Roker Jr., William Baldwin, and Susie Essman.
