About us
The University of Texas at Arlington, abbreviated as UTA, is a public-funded university located in Arlington, Texas. It was established in 1895 and was a part of the Texas A&M University system until 1965; it joined the University of Texas System. The main campus of UTA sprawls across 420 acres of land and operates out of 10 academic schools and colleges. UTA added a new campus in downtown Fort Worth campus in 2007. UTA is one of the only 115 public institutions of the USA to be included in the ‘top-tier’ list. As such, it becomes one of the best places to study abroad for international students. The total enrollment of UTA is 43000 plus students, out of whom 4.8 percent are international students. The university offers more than 180 undergraduate and graduate programs in diverse disciplines.
