Founded in the year 1850, The University of Dayton (UD) in Dayton, Ohio, is a private Catholic research university. Across its five academic divisions, the university offers more than 80 undergraduate, 50 master's, and 12 doctoral degree programs, as well as several licensure and certification programs. Over 270 student clubs and organizations are offered, including 30 sports clubs. Furthermore, international UG students can apply for automatic merit-based International scholarships awarded after they are chosen. About 98% of students get reliable financial assistance from the university. Hence, it is considered one of the best places to study abroad. On the main campus, there are four parts: Historic Campus, Campus West, River Campus, and Arena Sports Complex. In fact, approximately 100% of first-year students stay on campus.
