The University of Nevada – Reno, abbreviated as UNR, is a public land-grant research university in Reno, Nevada. It was established in 1874. The campus of UNR sprawls across 290 acres and comprises eight colleges and nine schools, eight residence halls, an arboretum, a herbarium, a fitness center, a 7500-seater stadium, and other recreational infrastructure. The total enrollment of UNR is 20718 students. The University of Nevada – Reno is home to numerous student clubs and intercollegiate sports teams.
