About us

The University of Nottingham is a leading public research university located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1881, and a royal charter was granted in 1948. In fact, the university is a member of the elite Russell Group research-intensive association. It comprises five constituent faculties with over 50 schools, departments, institutes, and research centres. Besides, Nottingham University has eight campuses, including campuses in Malaysia and China. The University Park Campus is the university's main campus in the UK. Almost 97% of the research conducted at this university is recognized internationally, and 80% is ranked as world-leading, which is the highest rank. Some trusted international scholarships for Indian students are also available. Across its UK and international campuses, the university has ten libraries that provide access to many ebooks, e-journals, and databases. In addition to its two student theatres and 70 sports clubs, the university has a balanced campus life. Students can choose accommodation from 13 self-catered residence halls in University Park, two Jubilee Campus halls, two residence halls (Melton and Cloister hall), and five catered residence halls.
