The University of Utah (U of U) is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. It is a public research-intensive university. Being Utah's flagship university, U of U offers more than a hundred programmes with undergraduate degrees and around 92 programmes with a graduate degree. This university has been distinguished and become renowned among 'Doctoral Universities - Very High Research Activity'. U of U was the Olympic Village, and the university also organised the prestigious opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
