Wright State University is a public-funded research university located in Dayton, Ohio, with an additional Lake campus. The origin of Wright State University can be traced back to 1963, and it was granted university status in 1967. The main campus of Wright State sprawls across 557 acres of land and comprises 71 academic buildings and 33 residential buildings. Furthermore, the branch campus at Grand Lake encapsulates an area of 173 acres.
