Arizona State University, abbreviated ASU, is a public research university located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. It was established in 1885 and is currently one of the USA's largest public institutions by enrollment. ASU is a high research university and spends around USD 550 million per year on innovation and research. It has four campuses in Metro Phoenix and one in Lake Havasu City.
