Thousand Oaks, California-based California Lutheran University (Cal Lutheran) was established in 1959. It is a private Christian university associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As for accreditation, the University is a member of the WASC Senior College & University Commission. Some specialised accreditations are the Graduate School of Education and the School of Management.
