About us
CSUSM was founded in 1989 as a public university that is found in San Marcos California. It has a diverse academic portfolio that comprises forty-three baccalaureate degrees, twenty-four master’s, eight education credential programs and an Educational Doctorate that has been offered jointly with the University of California, San Diego since March 2009 due to its recognition as the 21st campus within the California State University system.
CSUSM has diverse learning policies for individuals, efficient research for students, internships, and services learning for the betterment of the community.
The seven core characteristics relating to innovation and community engagement therefore make the university a vibrant centre of learning in the region.
