About us
Capital University is a private liberal arts university in Bexley, Ohio, United States. It is an evangelical Lutheran university founded in 1830 and is the oldest university in Central Ohio.
Capital has long been famous for its Conservatory of Music, which offers both classical and popular programs, and for the Law School, which is located in downtown Columbus.
The Higher Learning Commission recognises Capital University as one of the institutions accredited by it. The campus has an active student life, as evidenced by the numerous organisations that exist. The number exceeds one hundred, including fraternities and sororities, arts and media organisations, and cultural organisations, to mention but a few.
