Since 1967, Conestoga College has been one of the most prestigious colleges in Canada. Conestoga College has its main campus in Doon Valley, Kitchener. While the campuses and training centres are located in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Ingersoll, and Brantford, serving over 22,500 students. Over 200 career-focused programs and project-based courses are offered at Conestoga College for undergraduate and graduate students. The college offers 62 programs of cooperative education that are considered one of the best study abroad programs. Recreation centers on campus include a gymnasium, a fitness centre, a running track, and health centers. Moreover, there is a Masonry Center, a Roofing Skill Training Center, an HRAC Training Center, and a full-service restaurant on the Waterloo campus. The Conestoga College offers two types of on-campus accommodation, including two-bedroom open concept style residences and two-bedroom suites. Famous alumni include Will Ferguson, Barry Greenwald, Brenda Halloran, and Brenda Irving.
