De Montfort University, alternately known as DMU, is a public university in Leicester, England. It was founded in 1870 as Leicester School of Design and granted full-fledged university status in 1992. The campus of DMU comprises four academic faculties, ten residence halls, four library sites, the Campus Centre, and other recreational infrastructures. De Montfort University offers international scholarships worth 1500 GBP to undergraduate and postgraduate international students, making DMU one of the most affordable places to study abroad.
