About us
In 1966, Flinders University was established in Adelaide, South Australia, as a public research university. The campus of Flinders University is located in four different areas: Bedford park, Tonsley, Victoria square, and the northern territory. It has six academic colleges and schools, including Business, Government, and Law; Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences; Medicine & Public Health; Education, Psychology & Social Work; Nursing & Health Sciences; Science & Engineering. Flinders University offers more than 500 programs, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Besides, Programs are available in 19 fields of study, including business, creative arts, education, engineering, environment, health sciences, law, social sciences, psychology, etc. Research facilities include the Institute of Nanoscale Science and Technology, the Medical Device Research Institute, and many others. A total of 5,400 international students attend the university from over 90 countries. Hence, it’s one of the best places to study abroad. Accommodation for 560 students is available on campus and an international pathway center. Some famous alumni are Dean Calvert, Dr. Duncan Taylor, and Melissa Larkin.
