About us
Founded in 1969, Governors State University is a state-funded university situated in University Park, Illinois, with its campus situated about a 30-minute drive from Chicago city. GSU comprises four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Health and Human Services.
High importance is given to private learning, as the majority of the classes do not have more than 30 students to a teacher. GSU has shown that it is a diversity-focused institution since it currently has a 51% minority enrolment, and 70% of students are women.
