The Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) is a multidisciplinary higher education institution located in the southernmost part of Finland. A total of seven HAMK locations are in operation: Evo, Forssa, Hämeenlinna, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki and Valkeakoski. The university offers 27 Bachelor's degree programs, 10 Master's degree programs, and teacher training programs. Six areas of study are available: Culture; Natural Resources and the Environment; Natural Sciences; Social Services, Health and Sports; Technology, Communication, and Transport; and Social Sciences, Business, and Administration. HAMK combines inspirational higher education with customer-oriented applied research. Some study abroad scholarships are also available. The student body has access to a wide range of sports activities and various clubs. The Government of Finland has approved Häme University of Applied Sciences.
