Jacksonville State University is a public university located in Jacksonville, AL it was founded in 1883. It provides a full complement of undergraduate and graduate programs in the six academic colleges: College of Arts, Humanities, and Sciences and College of Business and Industry.
This university is affiliated with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) hence has well-developed quality and competency in pedagogy among its learning programs. Building upon its core values of creating a diverse and welcoming environment, JSU remains officially titled “The Friendliest Campus in the South."
