London South Bank University, abbreviated as LSBU, is a public research university in Elephant and Castle, London. LSBU was established in the late 1800s as the Borough Polytechnic University and became a full-fledged university in 1992. The LSBU campus comprises seven schools, numerous residence halls, the Edric Theatre, the Student Life Center, and other recreational infrastructures. The university's total enrollment is 18000, out of whom 2000 are international students from 120 countries, thereby making LSBU one of the best places to study abroad. The university extends 170 undergraduate programs and 90 graduate courses in sought-after disciplines like applied sciences, engineering, business, social sciences, etc. LSBU is home to 85 student societies and eleven sports teams. The university's research and innovation domain are phenomenal, and it has also received the title of the 'Entrepreneurial University of Year' by Times Higher Education recently.
