About us
Lynn University is a private university in Boca Raton, Florida, characterised by a rich diversity of students and a high focus on the concept of innovation. Founded in 1962, it has more than 50 undergraduate and 14 graduate programs in its six colleges: Burton D. Morgan College of Aeronautics and Conservatory of Music.
The backbone of the curriculum is called the Dialogues, truly interdisciplinary and focusing on themes like self and society, justice and civic life, and belief and reason, in order to offer a full-on liberal arts experience.
Technology has picked a niche in the education system, and this is well attributed to Lynn through the iPad initiative that the school has been awarded as Apple Distinguished School since 2014.
The Lynn Fighting Knights are the athletic teams of this school and compete in NCAA Division II for the Sunshine State Conference and have 25 national championships.
Much like other institutions, Lynn University has been increasing its academic programs and physical plant while emphasising learner-centred education for students.
