Manchester Metropolitan University, abbreviated as MMU, is a public university in Manchester, England. It was established in 1824 as Manchester Mechanics’ Institute and was granted full-fledged university status in 1992. MMU operates from two main campuses and is listed among the largest universities in Europe in terms of enrollment. The university’s main campus includes the All Saint’s library, high-tech classrooms, the Holden Gallery, and other recreational infrastructures. MMU admits 38000 students in total, and its study abroad intake is 3000 international students from 144 countries.
