About us

The Memorial University of Newfoundland, also deemed MUN, is a public university in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The university was established in 1925 and became an independent university in 1949. In addition to the main campus at St. Johns, MUN has satellite locations in Corner Brooks, Saint Pierre, Harlow, and England. The main MUN campus sprawls across 279 acres and comprises six faculties and six schools, multiple residence facilities, a radio station, the food court, and so forth. The total enrollment of Memorial University is 19500 students, out of whom 15 percent are international students, thereby making MUN one of the best places to study abroad. The university offers 100 plus undergraduate and graduate programs in sought-after fields such as medicine, engineering, social sciences, etc. MUN has 30 plus research funding and a total research funding of 100 million CAD.
