About us

North Island College (NIC) is a well-known community college in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Founded 1975, it has four campuses in Comox Valley,Campbell River, Port Alberni, and Port Hardy. The college offers 1000+ courses and approximately 80 programs. All the campuses are equipped with various student-friendly amenities and facilities such as bookstores, the cafeteria, classrooms, computer labs, modern classrooms and much more. The college is a home to 9,000+ students every year. The majority of NIC’s courses are one- and two-year certificate and diploma programs. Four-year applied degrees in Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as business administration in partnership with Vancouver Island University are also offered by NIC. NIC is among the most prestigious institutions in British Columbia seeking collaborations and partnerships with many prestigious universities. The College has aimed to widen domestic and international educational opportunities for its students.
