About us

Nottingham Trent University, also deemed NTU, is a public research university in Nottingham, England. It was founded in 1843 as the Nottingham School of Design and became a full-fledged university in 1992. Nottingham Trent operates via four campuses – the city campus, the Clifton campus, the Brockenhurst campus, and the creative quarter campus. The NTU sites are equipped with modern infrastructural facilities like state-of-the-art labs, excellent sports complexes, theatres, gyms, etc. NTU has residence halls on three campuses - Brackenhurst Campus, City Campus, and Clifton Campus. The university offers various study abroad scholarships to international students like tuition waivers, stipends, and so forth. NTU comprises eight academic faculties that extend graduate and undergraduate programs in sought-after fields like design, environmental sciences, technology, law, etc.

The total enrollment of NTU is 35700 students, out of whom 7.7 percent are international students. The university is home to multiple student societies and sports teams. The university has commendable research strength, with 74 percent of its research considered ‘international status.’ Lastly, Nottingham Trent University is the proud Alma Mater of numerous notable alumni, including Jonathan Huxley, Matt Berry, and Rachel Hirst.
