About us
The University of Oulu was founded in 1958 and is one of the largest and most versatile universities in Finland focused on research and education. There are about 10,000 students and about 2,500 employees in the university with eight faculties, such as Information Technology, Medicine, and Business.
Its research activities are based on the notions of sustainability, rationality, and humanism and are of outstanding value to science.
