About us

Royal Roads University (RRU, Royal Roads) is a higher educational institution in British Columbia. Its main campus is in Colwood situated at Hatley Park National Historic Site on Vancouver Island. Established in 1995, the university has a 565-acre campus that offers many student-friendly amenities to its students including a library, breakout rooms, modern classrooms, five computer labs equipped with modern technology, social spaces, teaching spaces, offices,  gymnasium, weight room, fitness studio, swimming pool, canteen, boathouse, dock, garage, squash courts, and outdoor tennis courts. RRU offers many undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as a wide range of certificate and diploma courses on-campus and in online classes. The university is home to approximately 5,300+ students coming from 60+ nationalities. 550+ students at the campus are international students. The students can also avail exciting scholarships at the university. The college also offers short-term courses in the English language. Some of the renowned alumni of RRU are Goffinet Miller, Gordon Exel, and  Grad Wasan Jema.
