Established in 1857, and initially named as the Minns Evening Normal School in San Francisco, the known San Jose University is the oldest public university of the California State University (CSU) system. Educating and accommodating over 33,500 national and international students in its main campus spread across 154 acres of land, the university offers state-of-the-art academic, residential, recreational, and athletic facilities, for its students to have a peaceful yet vibrant and balanced international education experience. The university in affiliation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, and credential programs, in subjects of information science, leadership, nursing, and many more.
