SUNY Geneseo is a premier liberal arts college located in Geneseo, New York. Established in 1867 as the Geneseo Normal School, it became a liberal arts college in 1948. The university sprawls over 220 acres and is a short drive from Rochester and Buffalo. It is among the top SUNY schools and offers 48 undergraduate degrees, five graduate programs, and 25 interdisciplinary minors in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, etc. With an average class size of 25 and an acceptance rate of 72 percent, SUNY Geneseo becomes one of the best places to study abroad. Forty percent of Geneseo’s students have been involved in study abroad programs. Lastly, SUNY Geneseo is the proud Alma Mater of numerous notable alumni, including Jenna Wolfe, Curt Smith, and Amy Collins.
