Tennessee Tech University is a public-funded research university located in Cookeville, Tennessee. Established as a private institution in 1909, Tennessee Tech was granted full-fledged university status in 1965. The university campus sprawls across 235 acres of land and comprises 87 buildings. The university operates out of eight academic schools and colleges, namely – Agriculture and Human Ecology, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, and Interdisciplinary Studies. It offers 44 bachelor's programs, 20 master's programs, and several doctoral degrees in diverse fields such as engineering, education, and environmental science. The current enrollment of the university is 10000 plus students, out of whom 4 percent are international students.
