About us

Founded in 1582, the University of Edinburgh is the sixth oldest University in Scotland. It is an open facility. Before that, it was known as Tunis College, and then it was named the University of Edinburgh in 1583. And in the same year, the University started its first classes. The University is the fourth Scottish University to be developed as an institution by the Royal Charter. In the 18th century, he became the latest Scottish Garden Institute. Students shall study postgraduate from abroad.  In 1875, a medical school was built at the facility, and the rooms were made in medical buildings through a large number of funds paid by famous politicians William McEwan. The building was designed and constructed by Anderson. Western General is one of the leading teaching hospitals associated with Edinburgh University. It is located two km and Bioquarter's central area and five km. The Easter Bush campus is located 8 miles south of Edinburgh city center near Penicuik. He is involved with the Royal School of Veterinary Research (Dick) and the Roslin Institute. The list of Edinburgh University alumni includes Bill Gates, Neil Armstrong, Justin Trudeau, APJ Abdul Kalam, Tony Hayward, Piers Sellers, Ian Charleson, and Irinia Bokovo.
