Founded in 1582, the University of Edinburgh is the sixth oldest University in Scotland. It is an open facility. Before that, it was known as Tunis College, and then it was named the University of Edinburgh in 1583. And in the same year, the University started its first classes. The University is the fourth Scottish University to be developed as an institution by the Royal Charter. In the 18th century, he became the latest Scottish Garden Institute.
