About us

Trent University is a public liberal arts college in Peterborough, Ontario, with a satellite campus in Oshawa and serving the municipality of Durham, one of the best places for studying abroad. Trent is known for its Oxbridge University system and small class sizes. With two main campuses, the university offers innovative experiences to its students. In addition to practical experiences for students, Trent University Durham GTA,  situated in Oshawa, offers a variety of specialized programs in the social sciences and arts. The Peterborough (Simons) campus is located on the banks of the Othonaby River and boasts stunning architecture combined with its breathtaking surroundings. The campus covers approximately 1,400 acres and is approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Toronto. With more than 100 clubs and groups, Trent University offers students approximately 20 graduate programs and 60 undergraduate and professional programs. In addition to the doctoral and graduate thesis, the university offers master's programs based on thesis and subject. The university also offers specializations in interdisciplinary fields.
