About us
The University Academy 92 (UA92) is an innovative higher education institution located in Old Trafford, Manchester. With the support of Microsoft and KPMG, Lancaster University and Manchester United Class of 92 have established UA92.
On September 20, 2019, UA92 launched six undergraduate degrees for September 2019 entry in accounting and finance, business studies, journalism, media and communications, physical education and sports science. Additionally, other new courses available include Computer Science and Sports Management, Event Management, Sports Coaching, Sports Event Management, and Sports Media and Communications. The application process is conducted through UCAS. A certificate in higher education (CertHE) is also offered.
In order to provide students from diverse educational and socioeconomic backgrounds access to high quality, higher education, the curriculum is taught in fixed morning and afternoon sessions for the duration of each student's degree program. In collaboration with over 30 industry partners, UA92 develops a curriculum based on business requirements. Some of the current partners include Microsoft, Trafford College, KPMG, TalkTalk, Manchester United, and Lancashire Cricket Club.
