About us
UB is one of the three universities within the State University of New York (SUNY) system, with its academic facilities located in Buffalo and Amherst, New York. UB was founded in 1846 and is a large research university that provides undergraduate, graduate, and professional education in seven schools and colleges.
Facilities that are present on UB’s campuses include updated research laboratories, well-stocked library facilities, and different types of accommodation for students. There are more than 300 student associations at the university, and thus, a diverse extracurricular activity perspective is encouraged.
