The Universal College of Learning was founded in 1892 as the leading New Zealand Government Institute of Technology and Polytechnic (ITP). The organisation possesses campuses in Palmerston North, Whanganui, Masterton, and Levin.
UCOL has training restaurants, hair and beauty salons, and links with local clubs, ensuring that students get ‘real life’ practice in his or her field of interest.
