The University of Dundee, abbreviated as Dund, is a public research university in Dundee, Scotland. It was established in 1881 as a university college and attained independent university status in 1967. In addition to the main, the university has two satellite locations in Ninewells and Kirkcaldy. The main campus of Dundee comprises ten academic schools, a high-tech library, modern workshops, eight residence halls, and other recreational infrastructures. The university has a total enrollment of 16000 students, out of whom 22 percent are international students.
