About us
The University of East of Anglia, abbreviated as UEA, is a public research university in Norwich, England. It was founded in 1963. The campus of UEA sprawls across 320 acres and comprises 26 academic schools, the University Sportspark, the famous Sainsbury Centre, 20 residence halls, various other recreational infrastructures. The university offers international scholarships for Indian students that may extend up to 15000 GBP. UAE offers 250 undergraduate programs and 250 postgraduate programs in diverse fields such as medicine, social sciences, humanities, etc. The university’s total enrollment is 18000 students, out of whom 2820 are international students. More than 82 percent of the university’s research is deemed ‘internationally excellent’ as per Research Excellent Framework. The university is home to multiple student societies and athletic teams. Some of the notable alumni of the University of East of Anglia include Nobel Laureate Sir Paul Nurse, Dame Sarah Gilbert – the designer of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, and literary pioneer Kazuo Ishiguro.
