About us
UHCL was founded in 1971 as a public university and has two primary campuses in Houston and Pasadena and branch campuses in Pearland and the Texas Medical Centre. By virtue of being an institution of the University of Houston System, UHCL provides a wide array of academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels within four colleges. In its program list and scholarship preferences, the university is…famous for its focus on business, education, and sciences, even offering a full graduate course in biotechnology.
Due to the university's proximity to the NASA Johnson Space Centre and the energy-filled city of Houston, students can secure internships, research, and employment in different fields.
