About us

The University of Huddersfield is a public-funded research university in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire – England. We can trace the institute’s history to the 1800s, and it finally became a full-fledged university in 1992. In addition to the main campus at Queensgate, the university has ancillary locations in Oldham and Barnsley. The university’s main campus encompasses the Buckley Innovation Centre, the Student Central Building, an International Study Centre, seven residence halls, and other recreational infrastructures. Huddersfield University offers some of the best places to study abroad, including 200 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in sought-after fields like medicine, engineering, arts, etc. The university’s total enrollment is 17305 students, out of whom 3827 are international students.
