The University of Nebraska at Kearney, abbreviated as UNK, is a public university in Kearney, Nebraska. It is a public University of Nebraska system campus and was founded in 1906. The main campus of UNK sprawls across 235 acres and comprises three academic colleges, seven residence halls, a 6000-seater health and sports center, a 19000-square foot wellness center, and so forth. The university's total enrollment is 6327 students, with a study abroad intake of 300 students from 50 countries. UNK is home to 170 student clubs and 12 intercollegiate sports teams.
