University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, abbreviated as UWM, is a public urban research university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was founded in 1885 and is the second-largest university in Wisconsin. The main campus of UWM sprawls 104 acres and encompasses 15 academic schools and colleges, five residence halls, the 350000 square feet Student Union, 480-vehicle parking structure, and other recreational infrastructures.
