Wichita State University, abbreviated as WSU, is a public research university in Wichita, Kansas. It was founded in 1895. In addition to the central campus at Wichita, WSU hosts four satellite locations at Maize, Derby, and Downtown Center. The main WSU campus sprawls across 330 acres and encompasses six academic colleges, a dental clinic, the 75000 square foot Metropolitan Complex, three residence halls, and so forth. WSU offers some of the best courses to study abroad for international students, including 51 bachelor’s courses and 31 master’s courses in diverse disciplines such as engineering, social work, business, etc. WSU is home to 240 student clubs and more than ten intercollegiate sports teams. WSU is deemed among R2: Doctoral Universities with High Research Activities.
