LIU Post (CW Post) is a private university located in Brookville, New York. It is the largest campus in the private Long Island University system. Established in 1954, the university is located on 307 acres (1.24 km2) on the north shore of Long Island. Humanities and Life Sciences Hall / Pell Hall are the main educational buildings on campus and host most of the core courses of the curriculum. Classes are also held at Hoxie Hall, Roth Hall, Lorber Hall, Theater Film and Dance building, Sculpture Studio, Crafts Centre, Fine Arts, B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library, and Kahn Discovery Centre. LIU Post is one of the best places for studying abroad. Additionally, its campus is filled with various student-friendly amenities. The university's famous CW Post Interfaith Chapel is home to the Interfaith Center, which offers both church services and partnerships with community organizations. LIU Post programs of study are registered with the New York State Department of Education and are accredited by the Higher Education Commission of the American Association of Colleges and Schools.
