The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse ( UWL, locally La Crosse) is a public university located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Founded in 1909, the University of Wisconsin is the premier public university in the system, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. With 9,600 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students, UW-La Crosse consists of 4 colleges and schools presenting 102 undergraduate applications, 31 graduate applications, and a pair of doctoral applications.
