Medicine Hat College is a public-funded, board-governed comprehensive college in Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1965. In addition to the main campus, the college has another ancillary location in Brooks that caters to 200 students. The main Medicine Hat campus is equipped with modern infrastructures such as high-tech classrooms and labs, a day-care center, the Teaching Garden, the Teahouse, an on-campus grill area, and so forth. The college also has several residence halls that provide housing to 300 students. The total enrollment of Medicine Hat College is 2500 students and has a study abroad intake of 11 percent international students. Medicine Hat offers 40 diploma and certificate courses and 25 university transfer programs. Students can get a bachelor’s degree in nursing, education, and business, courtesy of the collaboration between Medicine Hat College, the University of Calgary, and Mount Royal University. Medicine Hat College is home to several student societies and athletic teams. Some of the renowned alumni of the college include Tara Chisholm, Glen Motz, and Megan Nagy.
